Is smoking a bong alone a waste of weed?

When I first started smoking I had a lot of issues because I only had a small glass pipe and the smoke was either too hot for my throat and lungs, or I would suck in ash. So I bought a small bong and fell in love. It was a night and day difference, all the smoke was cool when it got to my mouth.

I mostly smoke alone (I am just not really a social person honestly) and the other day my friend came over and told me I was wasting weed by using the bong. This guy is a former pothead but still only thinks there are 2 types of weed, hydro and schwag.

So am I wasting by smoking out of a small bong instead of a pipe?

what Smokey said. i'd rather smoke and have all the herb for me lol i wish i had a bong... i have a bubbler and it actually helps me save more herb.

I mean you could take a 1 hitter try save all your weed ............but don't you smoke swagg, who gives a fuck its cheaper than dirt....btw smoking swagg out of a bong is nasty IMO, get some dro or roll some blunts with that reggie miller

If you want to use a small bong as efficiently as a one hitter pipe only load what you will burn each hit at a time. The waste in using a bong is really just the way people always load full bowls and let it just smolder out or worse yet keep burning.

If I'm really short on weed that's what I do so every crumb counts.

You'll have to put a screen in the bong so you can load a tiny piece and not just suck it down.

Bongs are the way to go. Unless you smoke shwagg, The only way I get high off of shwag is if I smoke a nice sized joint to myself. (Still kickin myself for buyin my last bag (A quarter, which was only $25) from a guy in the dead of night without investigating it first. You get what you pay for.

Louis, a quarter of dirt for ONLY $25?! What region are you from! That seems expensive. Smokey, sorry to hear about chief! As far as the original question goes. I get the biggest rips from bongs. I would just use whatever gets the job done! You've already bought a bong, why shell out more $ for another piece? With that money you can get another bag, which makes you end up with even more doja! I bet one of those sneakatoke things save pretty well, but I'm all about taste..and metal pipes taste nasty to me! I think blunts are by far more wasteful of the pot! Next would be joints? How much of it burns between puffs? Oh well, good luck finding what works best for you. PEACE

exactly only time i waste with a bong is if i don't finish all the weed and then just chuck it cause it tastes nastier and i've got enough weed so i can, but yeah if i want to conserve i think bongs are pretty efficient if you only put in what you know you'll hit, or make sure and burn every last bit of it

i remember this weed my mate got, quite a bit of it in a cereal bag, was given it because it was shit, tried smoking it in joints and just didn't really do much, put it in the bong and it got us baked

Bongs are the best in my book. Smoking a bong is never a waste of weed. Maybe the person that told you that just can't handle a fat bong rip.

no never, bong is my prefered method every time. he obviously wasnt well versed in the book that is marijuana.
