yeah bro, your gonna need at least 8 42w compact flourescent bulbs,
get some y sockets and 4 of those painters lights with the aluminum reflectors.
you can get all that stuff pretty cheap at lowes or home depot.
you, want your lights to be as close to your plants as possible, put your hand directly above your plants and then lower the lights until you feel the heat on your hand, thats as far away from your plants you want to keep them, always check them, cause you have to adjust them as the plants grow

Thanks man will do. But do those Y sockets come with plugs or do i have to Install the mall connectors myself for the electrical outlet?

yea you can bury the stock ... I would have just had a fan on them from the start.... I run my fans almost nonstop ill shut them off for a few hours every couple days, I do the same with lights ... otherwise i run all on veg 2 days on 2 hours off.

cool Ill keep that in mind. Right now I use miracle grow seed starter mixed with sphangnom peat moss for the ones that already have grown about 6 inches tall. I use straight miricale grow seed starter for the little ones. Is that a good mixture?

no bro, those y sockets will screw directly into those painters lights, it just makes it so that you can have two bulbs in one socket

Dude, You are gonna need 100x the lighting you have for that many plants, however I started off with 12 knocked it down to the three best if thats what your thinkin you will still need more light. At least 400w of those CFL and the low 19, 21, 25w rating not the comparison. Keep in mind you want to have the cool type veg and try and find the highest 6400k usually.

Yea If these plants fail im going to change my whole light setup. Ive lost 5 already and I want to get it right before I try with any good seeds. You would never think how hard it is to grow these things. I need to get a formula going. More like a routine haha

Once again, you need more light, you're trying to imitate the Sun, if you're lights don't hurt your eyes you're wasting your time.

Im just messing with ya. But I put the light 2 inches from the light like you guys said and they still seem to be getting to tall. I dont know what im doing wrong. Any thoughts?

well now Im down to my 16 best pants now. Out of the 62 I picked which ones were the strongest and they are going to be the ones im going to keep. Tell me what you think or give me some tips now.

lmao sorry but it cracks me up everytime i see stretch little seedlings like that. but yea move the light close and get a fan.

Below is the type of CFL lighting you need for veg'n. Keep them as close to the tops of the plants as possible.
By stretching out like that, your plants are "SCREAMING FOR LIGHT".

Note the 8 - 26w 6500K
CFL grow 4th time around (PICS) CHECK IT OUT - Marijuana Growing

Use "organic" potting soil with "NO NUTES".
Start using nutes after 3 weeks (after the 21st day), and not before.

Here's a site with the type of CFLs you might need, Stick with 26w or above and at least 13,000 to 14,000 lumens total for veg'n.
2 to 200 Watt Compact Fluorescent Bulbs : 1000Bulbs.com
For veg'n you'll need the 6400K-6500K bulbs.
For flowering you'll need the 2700K bulbs.

In reality, you should probably either flush out your "overnuted soil" plants or replant them in organic, no nute soil.
Tragically, Charlie Brown only had a Christmas Tree special. Otherwise, these plants woulda been a "shoo-in".

that sounds good. Ive been checking out alot of threads and i think im going to move into the bubbleponics system. Seems easier and alot faster. Plus stealth's kit comes with everything.

Okay so now I changed my lighting setup. I went away for 2 days and i left the light on. when i came back the plants made a huge growth spurt. So today i changed my light setup because every one has been telling me to. I went with 5 26w cfls and they are bright. Now what do i do?
