Hello I have 2 plants about 5 wks old. I have them in a cabinet 3x3x3. My humidty in there is less then 10%. The humidty was staying around 30-35% but has dropped real low recently... not sure why. Is it bad for the plants? It also seems that there getting a little lighter in color and growth is a liitle slower... Any advice? thanks

They can slow down growth. Get a cool-mist humidifier...they cost around 30 bux and also help keep your room cooler.

Can you post up pics?

they look under watered and possibly too much nutes. they need to look healthy before flowering or else the flowers won't turn out.

good advice! you water when they're dry, not once a week. they look very dry. some other issues there as well, any details? as mentioned, don't ever go to flower when you plants have issues. one of the results of low humidity, is light airy buds, so your yield will suffer.

leaves pointing up is equivilent to a smiling plant. leaves pointing down is equivilent to a frowning plant yours look sad water will bring em back up a few of mine do this because they drain faster and dry out faster. an hour after watering they should go back to happy. its actually goo to have it dry out in less than a week i see the plants that turn out best for me dry and drain fast making the nutrient more available in the soil to wet the plant wont drink. too dry ,well look at your pics thats TOO DRY

if u water once a week go every 4 days now because u got to think that the roots r getting bigger so they suck up much more water! also u can start adding nutes now

If you haven't used nutes yet it seems odd that it looks like it shows signs of possibly starving with the vellow and brown leafs on the bottom but really green on the rest and also curled down leaf tips at the top which indicates too much nutes.

It's all fucked up.. And you only water when it's dry. It could have been drooping from being kept too wet I wouldn't have jumped at the first advice until you hear more opinions next time. Might have just overwatered again.

drop your ph to 6.5, 7 is neutral. what type ferts you gonna use, it's time. if you can put the first couple joints of your finger into dry medium, water/feed. if it's just a thirsty droop, it should perk right up in 20-30 minutes. you'll see the same sort of droop from over-watering, which i don't think is the case here.

how big are your pots? could be root lock. I thought it was maybe too much nutes because of how it's curling under. weird that it has never been fed.

You should get her squared away before you flower. There is still hope for these plants.

Humidity does matter. Are you in a cool part of the world? Forced air heating? That will suck the water out of the air to about 20%.

Break out those nutes. Feed that plant. Along with more water and a humidifier.

Search Google for Nitrogen deficient pics and see if it looks like yours.

The plants look alot better today and they have grown a good bit over night. im not sure on the size of the pots if i had to guess 1-2 gallons pots. I know i will probally have to transplant to larger pots during flowering. The tallest plant is already a good 15inches. I dont have any nutes so i will have to order some. Should i get foxfarms nutes sinces im using there soil? I live in the north east US so it has been very cold latley. My humidthy did bonce back to 25% and the temps always stay around 78. Thanks again for the posts...

Doesn't matter. FoxFarms works, but don't feel tied to it because of the soil. Everyone has their favorite.

I've tried FoxFarms nutes, but didn't care for them, I now use Botanicare: http://www.americanagritech.com/product/product_detail.asp?ID=1&pro_id_pk=34
