is there a tecnique to creating a "bonsai" plant?

ive seen a few pictures of "bonsai" plants, and i was wondering if it can be created or if its a kind of strain?

you have to keep the plant in a small pot so that it becomes root bound, and prune and prune to your desire..

mmk... i made a post about this a while ago... but the pics got deleted (i just copy/pasted from somewhere else, so i had no control over that...)

but basically... you have to take lots of cuttings... so top your plant lots to begin with, and keep it in a small pot.... you also have to trim the root ball every so often and replant with some new soil so that it keeps growing...

i'll find a better tutorial fo ya friend!
