Is there an easier way to scoop up rso tar from rice cooker?

So my rso is nearly done and I don't want to use a dilute to make the tar more manageable, I tried scraping it with a manora blade but there's too much and it just seems to stick to the blade and it's not working.... I thought freezing it then breaking it might work?? Any suggestions and solutions welcome ❤

what solvent did you use. I've only made rso for myself a few times and never ran into this issue. i used 99% alcohol. maybe its a little over cooked? anyway, i know you didn't want to dilute it any, but i don't know if there is a way around it. anyways, heres some advice i found while searching your issue,....."If your looking to make it an oil, add any type of oil and mix it (warm normally works best). Add Coconut oil, or olive oil, mild heat, and mix it until you get the consistency you are looking for." that seems to be the common advice for paste-like rso. i know its probably not the exact answer you were looking for, but it seems to be the most common advice

Thank you for the advice, yes that seems to be the common solution but I did not want to dilute it as I was going to smoke it lol. Anyways I used 99.7% iso alcohol as solvent,.i doubt 8ts over cooked as I kept the rice cooker on the low setting and it was only warm to touch not hot.,.. I tried experimenting by putting it in the freezer, and the tar snaps off the manora blade, hopefully I can scratch the rest up with something sharp

I'm such an idiot, I've put my oven at approx 220f and put the pot in to do a decarb and now the oil is much thinner and easier to work with when it's hot, will be easy to put into syringes now
thanks

nice! yea some people suggested to melt it down using like a double boiler, but i think the main point was probably just to get it warm enough to liquify it. plus, putting it in your oven pry got any residual solvent out too. good idea, but kinda risky ha. glad it worked out. so you decarbed the concentrate after it was made, or did you decarb it twice...just curious
