Is there any benefits from starting a plant on 12/12 from sprout?

If its not autoflowering, how will it know when to flower?

If it is autoflowering how early can it start to flowering?
This second question has me puzzled since a couple of weeks ago when i saw a tiny (about 3weekold) 4 inch plant flowering after it was started on 12/12 from seed?

I've got 2 plants from bagseed that I started under something like 6/18 until I put them outside at around 3 weeks, maybe 4.
They started flowering within a week and half of having natural daylight, which at the time was about 14/10.

Starting 12/12 from seed also helps to keep the plant smaller for those of us with height restrictions. Ive also been told that it shows sex sooner.

usually takes about 3 weeks under 12/12 for em to show sex but it hella varies, the plants really make that decision when u do this.. some people can pull of crazy weight using this method.. but strain is very important!! check out del's 12/12 from seed thread!!!
