Is there any point having four plants or will two produce the same under 400w mh?

Will two plants produce the same as four plants under 400w mh. In other words, if there is a limit on what 400watts will produce should I just have two plants? The laws are draconian here and I am thinking the diff between four and two here could be substantial if worst case scenario eventuates.

maybe I'll just do two and supercrop, top, ect cus it don't matter the size here just the quantity( makes sense???)

Gotta train them somehow ( super crop LST topping or a combination) and use lil bigger pots or pruning pots and veg a lil longer

If you are new and lack experience I suggest four. The pros can reduce the number of plants and maximize yeilds through good growing techniques. Newbs can easily kill all four plants. For the time investment, it's better to think more plants to cover the risk of making mistakes. I don't recommend starting an illegal grow if you are worried about the severity of punishment for plant count.

Go with four. Like prosperian said.. But not just for that reason. More plants will mean more bud. 2 plants wont grow thicker or grow more just because their is only two instead of four. Its all up to the grower and strain on how much you yield. This is an inevitability that cannot be changed....

I thought about dropping to two containers. But there is something guaranteed about have four girls in the grow room. You know the yeild is going to be there. Good call navy.
