Is this a DR80, it looks fishy to me.

unfortunately no, my dr80 zipper opens from the right hand side, one giant flap, not in the middle like that one. not sure what brand that one is but i would be wary

on second look that tent is quite cheap and only 2 large diameter ventilation holes, my dr80 has 3 (which still i would like 4 but oh well) , the roof rack looks really cheap too.

check out what a couple more bucks gets ya

why does it look fishy? What is there to be "wary" of? Nowhere does it say it is "x brand". THe poster only calls it a grow tent, which it is. There are a lot of different companies that make them. I don't see anything wrong with that one from the pictures, and the seller has a very good rating.

i only said be wary , because of course its ebay. and the roof rack looks very cheap, as do the flaps. and the lack thereof just my opinion. if that tent on ebay suits your standards then by all means endorse it.


i bought a growlab and returned it for a secretjardin, the quality just wasn't there with the GL

The street one is a cheaper version...and MUCH lower quality if you ask me, just pay the little bit extra to get the DR instead of the DRS.

ok, when you said "fishy" I took that to mean that they were saying it was an official dr80 even though it didn't look like it.

It may "look" cheap, but imo all tents are. A "real" dr80 is twice as much. I doubt if you will get twice as much herb out of it. The thing that matters is whether it will get the job done or not. Now if it was a large tent I might be more concerned about quality. But for a small one like that, I don't see it making as much of a difference. Of course that is just my opinion.

smaller tent is just because of my requirements i would love a 4x4 but what can ya do, except do the best with what ya got. sure the herb will be unaffected supposedly but the headache of dealing with just those two holes for venting would be a pain. altho for the money it cost could just hack it up. more money less headaches

Because my last few grows were dire I think Ill buy the DR80 over a cheaper tent, now where to buy from that ships to the UK?
