Is this a fungal thing? Or is it a nutrient issue?

keep it real.

Yep yep just ocean forest too no mix
OF “can” be hot and can easily cause burn and lockout.
Are you feeding? If so what?
You might benefit from some organic black strap molasses with its magnesium calcium and potassium.
with an organic medium, it shouldn’t dry out. Try to find that healthy balance of moist

Same thing happened to me too. And I agree they have tons of nitrogen now in the ocean forest

I'll second that and it's not a lot of slow release, it's available pretty fast. Saw some of this on 2 auto's I run in a 15gal in the veg tent. Had put some of it in the mixes for some house plants and they ate all that shit up immediately and now they're showing nitrogen deficiency

It's not too late to toss some dolomite on there, too. I hit the leaf burn you're getting but I had already added dolomite but it wasn't available yet that nitrogen is so ready to go.

You shouldn't have lockout issues unless you're using synthetic nutes. Most of nutes in FFOF is gone by week two or three. Ocean Forest has a reputation for being hot, but it's not that hot. I plant seeds directly in it and have never had issues. Lockout is pretty rare in early veg. Are you using Calmag?
