Is this a Male or Female? Or is it too soon?

Can any of you experts tell what sex this plant is yet? i only really have room for one plant. so if this a male i want to start another one right away.

also, do i have too many leaves on this clone, (just in case this turns out to be a female)?

There are not signs yet, but keep checking between those nodes. If you see a cluster of balls form, destroy it!
