Is this a male or preflower?

I have one that I found yesterday that I’m pretty sure is a male. Will call it plant 1. I now found another weird growth on plant 2. Idk if the one on plant two is signs of male or a pre flower. What are your thoughts.

Plant 2 is showing a little bit it’s probably hard to see but it looks like some type of node is beginning to form there

Next to the left stipule it looks like a pollen sac forming and about to straighten itself out. Wait to be sure because it won't ruin your day for awhile.
