Is this a nute burn or what.. ?

If you a taking guesses for when it will finish I would say 5 weeks, after new year.

Wow really? thats odd, cuz that is usually an 8-9 weeks plant in total, so 5 more weeks seems a bit much. my predictions were 2-3 more weeks tops.[/QUOTE]
When your buying a plant that flowers by itself, you cant ever have an exact date forecast. Photos are more consistently "on time" than autos. Buy a scope and be patient, itll happen.

Btw what about that part about cutting come 'more developed' colas off first and leaving the rest to mature?
You dont need to worry about a two stage harvest. Theyre for much bigger plants that have several zones of growth. The stuff touching the light, and the interior bottom which is all shaded and limey. Your plants arent that size.

Yea i know they arent that size. in fact they are way smaller than that but anyway my main cola and few others appear to be more mature then the rest, so isnt the logical conclusion that they will finish faster also? so im wondering will ibget bigger yields if i remove finished colas before the rest?

Still no.

Yo, its me again with the questions...
My plant has grown significantly since the last time i posted here. What baffles me a bit are two things. First, many of the trichs have already turned amber, even though its not even close to finish. Secondly, i can now see many new leaves and possible flower heads emerging from the lower branches, which i find odd because i dont really see how they could finish in time. Will they speed up their growth as the plant will reach maturity or will they simoly stay underdeveloped?

the small stuff is popcorn or "larf" all plants grow that, just ignore it for the most part, stick it in the hash pile when you get done.
trichs are usually the tellers of tales, if they say the plant is ready, then its probably ready.
autos are a little strange, sometimes sun leaves yellow like a normal plant, sometimes they stay green till you cut them off at harvest. they don't always show the normal signs other plants show. if you get to about 15% amber trichs, i think i'd harvest

Okay thanks for the info. Some of lower fan leaves already turned yellow but i removed them because i figured that way the plant can focus more energy into bud growth. It was not more than a couple of leaves, 5-6 maybe but i hope it wont have any negative side effects though.
Can you please specify 15% amber...do you mean 15% out of all trichs on the plant or all trichs on a single bud?

i just check random buds, some big and some mid sized. if the canopy was very thick and theres a lot of under developed stuff on the bottom half of the plant, i'll take the top buds and get them drying while letting the rest go another week or two.
if you let the plant go too long, you'll start to lose potency due to thc degrading into cbn. you can get a lot of foxtailing and loose airy buds as well. actually, the opposite is a much more common problem, most people harvest way earlier than they should.

Well I thought so too but somebody advised me earlier in this post not to do 2 stage harvest because my plant is allegedly "too small for it". I know early harvest is more common than late but thats the exact reason i dont want to fuckup my 1st grow and harvest too early.

traditionally, its not something you would need to do on a smaller plant, unless it had a very dense canopy. but if you think thats the way to go, its not going to hurt anything, so if it makes you feel better, do it.

Okay, thanks mate haha. I dont feel like i need to do it but there are many underdeveloped colas emerging since recently and the canopy is quite dense so I think that my main cola will finish sooner than the rest. Especially since i started with the lst a bit late so the dominant gene prevailed in the main cola, which is why i feel that those underdeveloped flowers will have more chance of bulking up when i cut down the main cola (which wont be for at least a week or so).

Yo, i come with another update. This time im just curious how long do i have left? Ive decided to remove the main cola sooner, despite its a small plant, so the rest can have more space and energy to develop. Now my question is when to remove it exactly so i can alter the feeding /watering schedule according to it. Any advice is welcome. :)DSC_0326.JPG DSC_0327.JPG DSC_0328.JPG

Hey there y'all! I'm doing my first indoor grow under a 400 watt HPS/MH switchable HID in miracle grow (trust me I know what a mistake this was after I did it) in a semi-large closet. I'm having some yellowing on the lower leaves of my diesel auto fem and I'm not sure what it is as it could be a host of issues. Firstly, I started off using miracle grow potting mix which leaches nutrients and leaves me with little ability to control nutrient levels. I thought at first that it might be nitro toxicity as some of the leaves had a claw like appearance. Now it seems more like nitro deficiency as the lower leaves are starting to yellow, which matches what I've been reading. I have a hygrometer/ thermometer in the mail as well as a digital PH tester. This way I'll be able to better determine if it has anything to do with the environment or nutrient lock due to PH issues. So it could be a couple things in my novice opinion. 1. I used too small of a pot and the plant is rootbound. 2. It has a nitrogen deficiency. 3. The PH of my water is off and is locking out nutrients. I have another plant of the same strain that has been getting the exact same treatment and conditions except it's in a slightly bigger pot. Incidentally it looks totally fine. Can anyone try to eyeball this thing for me and give me their two cents?

Hello, can anybody please help me? Im almost at the end of my 1st grow and i encountered some problems in this late stage. Leaves have some reddish black dots on them. Anyone has a clue what that is and how to get rid of it? :/
