Is this a pre-flower?

Was just checking in on my plants today, again ...
Checking the temp of the room mostly, and to admire for a few minutes :)

I noticed, and got excited, over some new growth I didn't recognize.

Those little nubs that stick out at the nodes that are often mistaken as pre-flowers are called stipules.

I have heard about stipules, but didnt bother to research it farther. All I know is you want them to close up from low humidy a couple weeks before harvest.

Thanks for pointing that out.

If they have been that stressed during the first few weeks you may want to consider germination another seed or two

Not experienced by any means here, very much new to this, but from first run experience, early stress led me to two herms. Trying to perfect the area, gave the plants so many dofferent conditions is what I believe led to this. Also like yours, growth was very slow first 2 weeks. Don't give up on them, they are resilient, but I would get a couple more going, just in case.

What you got goin on in 3 weeks, bro?... Don't love it to death. First few weeks the plant doesn't need much of anything except some soil and a lil light and a bit of love. Be patient! Good luck?

Okay, First. Potting soil is trash. Get some gardening soil that feeds a little. I go organic. For the seedling stage, garden soil works fine. Add bone meal or some gentle, root specific fert for root development...not a lot. Just sprinkle a tiny bit in the hole where the seed goes. In a few weeks when you're ready to transplant into a bigger pot, go to one of the soil threads and use one of the soil blends they have up (or go soilless and feed with liquid nutes).

Second, FFBB is a nute which you won't use till later. Using any strong fert at the recommended dosage on a plant younger than 2-3 weeks is gonna burn them. Even then, you want to start feeding at 1/4 to 1/2 the recommended dosage and increase as the plant gets bigger.
