Is this a problem?

I have some plants in my backyard and I've noticed little nubs below some of the internodes. Does this mean these plants are turning hermie? If not, what are they?

Just look like old preflowers with their pistils already receded to me. Should be on like every node.

What do you mean by bananas? I got them from a friend and they some had some powdery mold problems when they came into my possession and had a bit of a journey to get to their final resting place, so yeah they definitely got a bit stressed out.
