I am growing two outdoor strains. XJ13 and Sour Haze. I grew from clone. I live in washington and the rainy weather caused the xj13 to mold really bad. I'm thinking because the buds were so dense.

My Sour Hazes had a tiny bit of mold at first. mostly just on leaves and i pruned them. But now there is budrot developing everywhere. i only started flowering on maybe august 1st? my plants have more then a month to go. maybe another 6 weeks. i have a bottle of serenade bacteria spray. and i sprayed with sulfur like last week as well as cutting off all mold spores.

So do i have to harvest now? or is it possible to fight this mold and still get a decent crop? should i cut off every single moldy part of the plant i see then just spray down with serenade? or can i leave the mold parts on? or... Plz help asap. thank you.

oh and its still raining now. should i spray serenade in this rainy weather? or wait till it passes?

oh and let me say that the sour haze is definitely showing good mold resistance considering the weather. there is bud building on a few nugs that i had to chop off but over all the mold isnt spreading rampantly at all.

cut all moldy parts off. cut the plant if the weather stays bad and the mold continues - and watch it close because it can spread very quickly. can't advise on spraying without photos... can only advise that strain selection is super important and sometimes you have to grow what will finish in your climate, not what you want to smoke. super dense buds are better off inside grow rooms or climate-controlled greenhouses, or more arid climates outdoors. I will cop to not following this advice though, I'm currently growing plants I don't expect to reach full maturity, I'm banking on them getting close enough.
