yes to me it is because I haven't even had a harvest yet so me going to a stronger light is gona be to much for me right now and I am getting some of the basic stuff still so going for better stuff right now isn't going to be worth it for me if I don't have all the proper stuff for me being a noob

dude you have no idea how many cfls you are going to need come flower time. especially for something worth while.


why wait 3 months for maybe half oz - oz?

a 250watter isn't going pro all it is, is a simple system with one light giving better quality light. its easier and better, and the hood for that and ballast wouldn't take up as much room as all those cfl's. we keep saying this is better for a reason, we are trying to help you get the best you can. the 250watt is just big enough for you to grow enough QUALITY stuff for you.

well in that case u shud only grow 2 plants or 1 , 5 is too mcuh for that light and its jus a waste of time, n plans

why why why why dont u people read uop about this stuff, its what i did i dont come on here askin stupid question about CFL and growing 5 planst under 3000 ljmens its jus un heard of, well until now hehehehehe, go RESEARCH i have for 5 years now, its very simple, u go find, read, take in, digest, and keep doing it!! evetually ull ahve a good understanding of plants and how why where they can and shud be grown!!!

This is my first indoor grow and Im using a 250w hps and a 100w cfl all on one plant. If I read this correctly i should be a pro? lol My light dosent put off alot heat and only made my energy bill go up less than $20.00 a month. My plant really seems to like it too.

get all those cfl's outa there its a waste. 250 watts is definatly not a lot. your basic oscilating fan will extract enough heat. run to walmart buy some of those carbon filter pads, they are by the air purifiers and such, tape those to the back of the fan. this is rediculous tho man, if your mom turns on her hair dryer, the breaker will blow? a hair dryer uses way more wattage. a toaster, a microwave, all those use way way more wattage than 250 watts. it is not that hard to add another breaker. im nto sure how your trailer is set up so i dont know what kind of rebuilding you would have to do, but if your house is on a breaker this weak, and would trip that easy, sorry to say but it needs to be re-done anyway, in my opinion. let me know what u think of this tho and ill get back with another idea possibly. good luck!
