Is this everything I need for a Hydroponic tent grow?

I am attempting my first Hydroponics grow and decided if im going to do it, I needed to do it right. So after doing a bit of research I went and ordered all my stuff. Before I germinate any seeds I want to make sure I have everything I need.

What type of fan should I get for this tent to circulate the air and keep it at a decent temperature?

if your running more than 8 feet of ducting you will need a more powerful fan. What about a res? pumps? trays? medium? H2O2? . You wil need them as well. Soil would have been cheaper and more forgiving to a new grower but you have most of the stuff. As for air movement just a well positioned cheap large osc fan.

I did a soil grow before and it started to come out really nice until some pests ate the roots. Was fun but I really really want to try a hydropnics grow. Right now I only plan on growing 2 plants so I can get the hydropnics system down and then will grow atleast 6 at a time once I am comfortable. I am doing a DWC grow in 5 gallon individual buckets. It will be a little more work but with every bucket being a different strain of seed it will be easier to maintain the ph & ppm levels of each plant opposed to if they all ran off the same reserve. Each 5 gallon bucket has its own air pump and a large airstone in the bottom.

As for the duct I figured I can cut it to the lengths I need. I dont think I will need the whole 25'though. This is how I am thinking of setting it up. It will be the carbon filter, connected to the inline fan, connected to ducting which runs into one end of the light ballast, run ducting from the other end of the ballast and finally connect to 1 of the 6" openings in the tent. I think it will be under 8' in total.

Get a good microscope, and start reading up on pests in hydroponic conditions so if you get any type of breakout you will be prepared. Other than that and the comment about the fan (good advise) you are ready. Good luck and if you get jammed up email me I grow everything under the sun in hydro I love it.

My exp with rockwoll in hydro has not been good at all. The only times I have had pest outbreaks is with rocwoll. I just use the little black sponge cubes and clay rocks. I am not a fan of rockwoll at all dont even know how to spell it I hate them that much. lol The giant round pots with the other stuff is the way to go. If you use small pots the plant will want to fall over once it gets big. Just my opinion.

What are common pests with hydro grows.

Is there any particular type of h2o2 I should get or can I just use the hydrogen peroxide I use to clean out cuts?

How much would a good microscope be? I already kinda went almost $200 over my budget.

Digital camera with good zoom will work instead of the microscope to see trich color.
