      • Hello everybody!

        This plant is a White Dragon (Northern Lights x Afghan) (100% Indica)

        She has been in flowering mode for 19 days

        Medium: 30% Peat, 30% Worm Castings, 30% Perlite
        Indoor
        150 W Metal Halide (20 cms away, 8 inches)
        Ventilating Fan
        11 Litres Pot (3 Gallons)
        Recently added 2 x 27 W CFl as side lighting.

        I have been using just organic fertilizers. Advanced Nutrients Mother Earth Super Tea Bloom, Plagron Alga Bloom and a bit of Nirvana.

        The water comes in at 6,6, and the runoff is 6,5.

        Day Ciclye

        Temperature= 24-27 Celcius (77 F)
        Humidity= 30-45 %

        Night Cycle

        Temperature= 18-19 Celsius (68 F)
        Humidity= 50-60 %

        Well she got to big so i had to tie her down on the 15 day of flowering. Anyway, I never did any technique at all during veg, so I know this must have stressed her a lot.

      Well today I started to see this yellowing in the new growth on the bottom of the plant.

      Please Help

      Thank and happy growing!!

New growth is usually lighter in color than mature leaves. They are also usually thin and not fully stretched out. They will get greener and more full as they grow out.

Lower leaves will yellow and die off as the plant grows and focuses energy on the tops.

Iron deficiency will show as inter-veinal chlorosis. Yellow leaves with green veins. Usually starts at the base of the leaf and progresses.

New growth will be a lighter and brighter shade of green. But if new growth is yellow then it is a deficiency.

Yeah, this is definitely iron deficiency, or sulfur.

If you're using just peat moss and perlite and worm castings, there really isn't much "dirt" which has all the elements like iron in it. Normally iron in soil comes from the clay and silt, which makes up most of dirt.

Iron and sulfur deficiencies are hard to tell apart because both iron and sulfur are used in the same protein, ferredoxins, which is used in the photosystems to channel electrons in the light process.

Try to get some iron sulfate and add about 0.5g to some water and pour it over the medium.
