Is this Lemon Haze Male?? Newbie!

Hi RIU,

So just flipped my Lemon Hazes few days ago but I think one of them is a male.

Having never seen one before I'm a bit unsure.

Can you let me know what you think?

I am seeing like little yellow balls developing on 3 different nodes.

These were seeds from I found in my bud one time.

I have a feminised next to it and I think I can see a difference in that I can see the little pistils.

More importantly I have 2 other LH's. One is showing pistils unlike this and the last one is terribly thin and frail.

This is the one I am worried about tho.

Also I have a question. If you have a male plant and harvest the seeds, what sex are these seeds? Is it all male or 50/50?

Any ideas?

Male plant produces pollen, the pollen lands on the Female Flowers and they create seeds.
the little balls are pollen sacs.
the caveat is forcing a female with buds past ripeness,the plant "may" want to reproduce so bad it will make seeds.
It create seeds to replicate itself.

I agree. The one pic looks totally like female, some of the others look suspicious. Once the internodes start stagerin you should know for sure. Be patient.

I would say male. Usually the calyx points upwards, and it looks like those little things are pointing outwards.

If this is the only male that popped up, its a good chance that those seeds were feminized. I was once told by an experienced grower that a feminized male should not be used for cross breeding. It could screw with the genetics of the strain. Your better off feminizing one of your healthy ladies... if you aim to produce your own seeds.

Gonna give it another 24hours and then it will be cremated.
