Is this light burn or something else?

The one in the middle of the eight plant pic is the only one I'd keep an eye on if they were mine. Also, what are you doing to keep runoff from collecting around the bottom of the plant?

Sorry for slow reply just seen this, but yeah true mate they normally bounce back after a few hours.

Yeah mate that one seems to be the runt of the litter it’s sort of small compared to the rest and even when it sprouted the leafs were stuck together for a few days.

I normally just wait 5-10 mins after watering and then dump the runoff from the trays into a bucket, should I get something to raise them so they’re not sitting in it? Any suggestions would be good but not got a lot of room for height with the filter.

I almost said this on your last thread if I recall your profile correctly, I mix names forget whos who at first. I think so I recognize the runoff setup lol.

Those lights are reallllllly strong. Take phone app ppfd readings with grain of salt. I dont even use it anymore I go by signs.

My light is 250w and turned on max 2 feet high or higher torched my plants. Sooo happy to see them turn around letting up the light. Turned on 25% 2’ high or lil more.

Im noticing theyre more sensative to light positioning in veg than flower. Real sensative I only go around 300ppfd lil less. I thought more is better but nope.

Those plants are still small too reminds me of when I scortched them at that size. Try dimming them more and/or raising it, to a counter intuitive degree so they can heal.

Theyre not seedlings so a little stretch is fine. If that dont fix it I got nothing else. Some times people just get issues none of us can figure out but hopefully it resolves.

I might raise the light slightly then as it’s on the lowest setting it’s a 720w light but dimmed to 250w, my mate runs these lights on full and said he’s not had any problems he said just be careful seeing how they adjust.

But thanks mate they seem to be doing better now a few days later tbh but will still raise the light up as their getting taller.

Got it at 60 for humidity, night time temps are 19-20 w humidity running a little higher at 65ish, got an air comfort meter that’s good for monitoring the temps at night.

You can set them on something like a brick to elevate them in the trays. If you’re removing the runoff, then that’s good too.

Here are some setup ideas using drain away trays with pvc work. Basic 1-2 plant drip system with orbit and other parts from home improvement store. Floraflex is best for higher plant counts like 3-8 plants.

We can help you figure it out its super easy and much much worth it. Its real dtw coco growing in my opinion. Hand feed makes no sense to me, too much time and work.

Wow I dont recall the setup, all the pics ive seen til now they looked different and the tent looked smaller. Theyre looking really good! Suddenly dark idk if thats just the camera. That looks like a nice tent for sure though.

It’s 4 x 8 mate, when the plants were smaller I just had them in one half of the tent haha

Yeah mate got 2 LEDS, but thanks I think it’s the camera photos before I was taking on iPhone but that’s just a cheap wifi camera I set up in the corner

I’ll need consider that option next time does look good must be quite hard to get all them pipes and pumps etc connected tho haha

Ohh if youre feeling anything like I did before I made my first decent setup I feel ya. I had several members help me every step of the way and Im not always easy to teach lol.

I ended up making like 3 or 4 more setups by my self its suuuper easy. My theory is its the dip a tube shape provides that the drain trays feed runoff into, that dip is enough to make it flow flawlessly.

Use pvc cutters theyre special cut through it like butter. Im bad at the whole measure twice cut once thing and I set them up winging it and theyre perfect. Just draw a rough line where to cut.

The pump is a little giant condensate pump which I found was recommended by dr coco for cannabis. Its a good pump lasted people 5-15 yrs and they didnt seem to join the make things cheaper and shittier market as time went on.

Flood trays are good for plant counts of 3 or more. For a 4x8 tent I would get a 3x3 tray, two of them. Those are actually a bit easier to set up, no precision work required. Fits a easy 4 plants.

Or you can do 2 very large plants. I havent done bigger than 2.5x2.5 foot plants but about to do 3x3 one plant. 4x4 is an awkward size IMO it can only really do 4 small 2x2’ plants.

I was persuaded to use a flood tray for that kind of setup as its less work and mess of pipes. You can put you foot in the middle of the tray to get closer to the plants in the corners.

Id do something like this, two of them in your 4x8 if youre gonna do more than 2. Will give you freedom to place plants where ever, or have 8 plants and easy access to them no tripping over pipes.

No crazy plumber expertise work with precision. The drain away tray setup has its perks to but its stuck as however you designed it. It can be easier to have one condensate pump instread of two.

You lose that benefit of plant placement though. If youre just running them for fun no high quotas and just like flexability you can place however many plants you want. Just need enough drip manifolds to do it.

In fact it becomes so easy to DIY with pvc work that I actually think I could combine both trays to one pump. It would be next level pvc work though, a bit harder than what I shared so far.

I know people here could help figure out how even better than me.
