Looks like one day the balloon might pop! o_O It's got the signs there of a male from everything I have studied so far.

When it looks like a seed pod or a puffed ball like banana without little white hairs it's usually a male.

That said I am not an expert at this yet just learning.....

Calyx's are tear drop shaped with no slits on the pod. When you see the slits on the pod, its a boy (or hermie). Those are what gives the pod the ability to open up when mature and spread pollen.
