Is this normal for 20 day old seedlings?

Hey...the noob is back again, i hate asking stupid questions, but yeah.
so i redid my lighting,5 75w cfls hanging above the plants...people say they shoot up after a little while..but im not sure..they have recovered from being almost burnt by heat lamps..and i replanted them, they didnt experience shock..,im not using any nutes right now, i keep good ventilation

what do i need to do :s

They look like they're stretching a bit too. Do you have a good fan on them? How close are your CFL to the plants?

My guess is that the lights are too far away. With CFL's you can get pretty damn close without burning the little ones.

what size puck, and just a little lou, im sticking them as close as i can, i just moved them out of the way so i could take a decent picture.

they are 75w tight, i THINK 125w equivalent

They are stretching far too much, doesn't matter what size pots 1, 2, 3 gal it's up to you but get rid of the clear cups, roots don't like light.

ahh thanks mate, so i mean, the only thing im doing to prohibit growth is their pots? or anything else? because i feel like im WAYYYY off track.

Repot 'em, and sink those exposed stalks into the soil within an inch of your first set of true leaves. Then get your lights closer. You'll be fine.

He means re-bury the stems up to their first set of bladed leaves, not the banana leaves the plant uses to break the seed open.

cant really afford hps..i can try but i looked into that..i mean is it really all that important? i heard i can atleast get through veg with it(the cfls, that is)

You can get a decent 150W HPS for about $75, bulb included. That means it pays for itself with harvest of your FIRST plant. Small price to pay IMO.
