just rip it out? can i save some balls in a ziplock bag and freeze them?
100% a male Chop him cut from the bottom of the stalk, and be sure to be careful so you don't break any of those sacs open.
Yes, Im positive. If you'd like, you can collect pollen for making your own seeds. Carefully remove the male from your grow area. Take the balls and put them in a container or baggie. You'll want to let them dry out completely before freezing though. But, I dont think freezing is needed when storing pollen.

id put a bag over the plant then cut it

5 days the pollen is not formed yet. If you want pollen, segregate it in a separate grow room ,like in the next county somewhere, and let it continue to grow for a few more weeks. Then gather the sacs. Otherwise take it out of the grow room now and execute it. You don't need to put a sack over it, it's not that ugly

I know this is painful. But his balls have dropped and he has to go. Think of him as having a pandemic deadly bird flu (not the government's made up one, but a real one that effects all your virgin ladies) and he is putting the rest of the girls in the valley of the brothel in severe jeopardy by passing this deadly seed into your young, virgin ladies....
Now, look at it like that and you will be able to rip him outa there by his balls alone!
On a serious note my friend, it is a heartbreaking reality in this world. Just tonight, my most prized White Widow has shown colors to be that of a boy. Tomorrow, I presume I will have to face reality and rid of him before he can taint the rest of the plants. The good news is a Nothern Lights and Bubblegum are both girls, and the Big Bud hasn't shown us (her I hope) their true colors.
