how close should i put my 400 watt mh (in a cool tube) now its bending the other way ._.

much better. it will grow towards the light. just center the light above the plant. its still a youngin. as far as how far away the light should be. not sure. i just guesstimate when i did mine.. lol

It will get there hopefully, thats good for 6 hours but shes still so young and needs to open up and finish developing before taking light.

I like to keep my seedlings round the edges of the grow room for a day or so then they get the full lights. Peace

Well i just figured this, if it was in nature right now poking its head out of the ground it'd be taking in sunlight. I'm just trying to stick as close to recreating outdoor conditions as possible

It could just be that it simpily hasnt opened up yet either, I mean under 24 hours ago it wasnt even fully out of the ground yet. It's a pretty new seed.

Edit: Defintly thinking it likes the light, I moved it down a bit closer not long ago and what do you know its straightned up a bit more

also just checked my ph levels they were a little high, I readjusted them

Just read this thread...that last photo could be in a text book she looks so sweet!. Mines the same age and a little lanky, but i'm not overly bothered.

Thanks man! :D

Just realized my humidity is a little low at 44% I just put a tub of water in there hopefully thatll help

its perfectly fine, the cotyledons are just there for food so the plant can start the real leafs. As far as I know they don't even take up light

Thanks guys and thanks nusky for anwsering all my noobish questions haha.

Gunna be starting my grow journal soon. Red diesel - ak-48 and ice :D

Im pretty sure they do take up light, mine always grow and get bigger till the stem splits its casing and they eventually drop off, small point though and somthing to look into but i am glad this seedling is looking ok now. Seems to be fine now dude just let it do its thing.

Peace

Yeah I'm not messing with it, I just wanted to be sure just incase there was something wrong I didnt wanna let it die. Thanks guys, they're having some lights out time right now

I have them on 18/6

Here you go dude, one of my plants, a little older than yours, and stretching much more.
