i agree we got to get off oil asap but can you provide your source on the statement "How many more tsunamis will it take to realise we're drilling too much oil? " for me?

What they don't tell you is the effect oil drilling has on the planet. When they drill oil they create pockets beneath the earths crust. These pockets eventually collapse and have caused numererous "natural" disasters. Have you heard of the sink holes in Texas? They swallow tractors whole. The thing with hemp is that it is our #1 renewable rescource yet it remains illeagle as it poses a huge threat to the oil companys, big pharma the national banks and all the other big industrys that are behind the curtains of our so called govornment. Hemp produces ten times the fiber of trees, can be made into food, clothes, housing, fuel, medicine, plastic, you name it. What can one man do? Stop buying their shit. Almost everything on Faux news is fabricated propeganda. We need to stop feeding the beast. I just put a hydrogen kit in my truck and now I get a few more miles a gallon. It's not much but thats a few gallons less of gov't oil.
 
what happens when you drill threw a crack? The crack splits. What happens if you drill threw certain places on earth? Would the earths crack also spread creating quakes of some sort?

I would think if you drilled in a fault line eventually you would release energy. But idnk just thinkin.

More assumptions. You don't know me, where I live, how long I've been growing for, and what my philosophy on life is.

Having read through a couple of your posts, you'd be shocked to know that we agree on pretty much everything. I can't stand oil either. I hope gas prices shoot up to $8 a gallon, because I feel that's the only way to get peoples attention in this country. Hit them in the pocket book. Then and only then will a push for alternative energy sources work. Short of FULL public support, the oil industries cozy relationship with our elected leaders will remain.

I don't grow for profit. I believe that marijuana is an amazing plant, with a multitude of uses, one of which being that it improves peoples quality of life. I grow for a cancer patient, an IBS patient, and someone who has had multiple hip replacements. I don't charge any of them a dime for the meds.

I guess I really don't care what some anonymous cat on a random internet forum thinks of me, but I thought it might be worth while pointing out to you how stupid you look when you run your mouth about something you really have no clue about.
 
we are now the number one grow website there is. you can't just blatently offer clones in public like this. wasnt to long ago the at the time largest growing website og.com got shut down for trading seeds basicly in open. and thats just seeds. i understand weed nowadays is looked at even in a more liberal sense by the masses. more states have induced medical marijuana laws since then but still on a federal level the outlook is the same.. were just protecting this site from getting shut down. no need to make a thread crying about it. i fully understand you were tryna be cool here hic. stop putting the site in danger and familierize yourself with priete messages.. feel me?

so no link has been shown scientifically in any specific cases? the scenario proposed vdoesnt sound that far fatched however the fact no link has yet been made despite that makes me question how many tsunami's have been caused by drilling soley. so to be fair i'd not list that as a reason anymore until you can find more conclusive proof of tsunami's caused by drilling and that the amount of them is increasing.
We are still pretty much on the same page on alot of it though. i still strongly agree the sooner we get off oil the better.
 
Obviously they know the damage it causes if their drilling everywhere but here and they sure as hell aren't going to publicise it. Stowandgrow, I have no idea why your trying to jump in and make this about you but if you want attention you just got it.
 
If it were already possible to release tectonic energy by drilling it would be done daily. We would never have a major earthquake again. What leads to earthquakes is two plates that catch, and are unable to most past each other, building energy. If it could be released regularly the quakes would be so small no one would ever notice.

im more with the us geological service on this one but it's possible it could of been an influence on the 2004 sumatran quake that resulted in that tsunami. if our dependence on oil stays on its current increasing rate i think in the future it could get alot more advanced and do alot more damage than drilling has done so far in this regard of earthquakes.

So anyway. i guess their are a few scientificish ideas on drilling causing tsunami's thats based on overall accepted science just scaled up to a level larger than currently accepted.
