Hi, this is my first AG grow, started getting brown tips on the leaves, after some research I thought possibly nutrient burn, so I flushed with some fresh tap water, and as usual brought the PH down using some fish ph down powder, now these strange white spots have started to appear, any help appreciated, ill post some pics.

Thanks, just worried about the little white spots that have came out pretty fast, need to figure out if/when i can put it under my 600W HPS and when to start using small amounts of nutes again. This is in a peat pod with a couple of airstones.

Get some better pics of the spots. I am thinking you have either spidermites or possibly thrips. The tips look like slight nute burn but nothing to worry about. Those spots are your main concern now.

dude think your right saw a little tiny brown thing, minute...any household things i can use?
Can you get a few closer pics of the white spots? If so we shoud be able too determine what sort of bugs you have and go from there. Happy Trails............

cheers mate will try, iphone cam not the best, the white spots look like the plants cell structure being broken down somehow, read another post on here recommending mite-rid, so purchased some, noticed tiny little red things only a couple, tiny bit bigger than a grain of sand, need to dig out the digital camera for some macro shots, cheers

pic 2 looks like a little red bug, ordered mite-rid from ebay, a post on here mentioned the main ingredient was cold pressed neem oil, just waiting for it to be delivered, it's made in auz i think. hopefully i'll get it soon, as I wanna put the AG under under my 600w hps

well sprayed foliage with mite-rid wait and see, thanks for everyones help, off topic but can anyone suggest a 2 pot system I can move my plants into, I would like to keep the AG to start them off then move them under my 600wHPS, been looking at flood and drain in coco mix or something, possibly purchasing a tent also. That way I can have a cycle of 2 plants in AG and 2 under HPS, you guys confuse me with your strange metric system :)

so I put it under my 600W HPS for say 8 hrs and it burnt the shit out of them, im not too happy, it's in a cupboard with a big fan, but I had the doors closed so I think the temp went up to about 43/44 C, iv moved the lamp up as high as possible and opened the door, temp dropped down to about 30C. SHould I take the HPS out of the equation, how serious is the burning of the top leaves..gutted..
