so drain all water and nutes out, then let them sit in plain tap water for a couple days?Yes over nut u should flush asp
25 degrees Celsius. No slime. why?Nope, whats the rez temp? Have you got slime on your roots?
If youre doing DWC - They look overfed, i.e Youre solution is too high and drowning the roots... If this is a DWC, you need to make sure only the bottom of the roots are hanging in the solution. and top feed until the roots get long enough to allow this.I may have started my plant on aggressive generalhydroponics cycle too early. Are these signs the nutes are too strong for the plant? Running hydro bucket with airstone, CFL lights. Room temps 26celsius.

Only about 20% max of the roots should be in the solution, the rest will be hanging in the air. Lots of first time DWC'ers completely submerge all the roots..... I'm sure youre not making this error though, are you?? lolIm going to flush and then go back to nutes after. Could be ph too I was out of ph down for 2 days. So to flush I just let them sit in tap water with no nutes for a couple days?
yea I did make that error. so its not too much nutes its just drowning?Only about 20% max of the roots should be in the solution, the rest will be hanging in the air. Lots of first time DWC'ers completely submerge all the roots..... I'm sure youre not making this error though, are you?? lol
Yes, to me it looks like thats your problem. The roots like air even more than they like your nutes. A fully grown plant will probably only have the bottom inch or 2 of the roots in the solution. ... Obviously the roots need to be long enough to 'hang' in the first place.yea I did make that error. so its not too much nutes its just drowning?
yea they hang through the net pot. So I should just let the water go up to the bottom of the net pot?Yes, to me it looks like thats your problem. If the roots are not long enough at the moment to 'hang', this is what 'I' would do...... Dont worry about the nute bath at the moment. Manually feed them from above until the roots grow and are able to hang through the net pots. .... Then make up your solution, and keep just the bottom of those roots in the solution. Osmosis will do the rest.
No, wait until those roots hang a couple of inches below the bottom of your pot. Then you will be ready to do the bubbling solution thing. ..... They DO look like theyve been drowning in your nute solution and this has caused the burning you see.yea they hang through the net pot. Hydrogen peroxide is used to keep the solution from getting slimey..... Off the top of my head I dont remember how much of the stuff you need to put in..... You dont need it until youre doing the bubbling thing, but when I ran a DWC (Deep Water Culture) setup I defo used it. Its needed. Thanks guys. Thats fucken GREAT info!!!
Oh I been adding hydrogen peroxide, could that be causing problems? 75ml in my 5gallon bucket, the 3% stuff.
