Is this PH related or Nute?

Here are some plants from seedlings. One is Jamacian dirt, the other is called Mystiva.

I'm wondering if this is a ph issue or a fert burn? I ask about the ph because my cheap assed Yellow Hanna broke after 2 months of 'use'.

I would lean towards nute burn.

im going thru the same thing right now i have alot of yellow leaves with brown spots that are dying. first i was told it was a nitrogen difficiency so i added more nutes and then a couple days later it was worse so i was told to rinse my trays flush my cubes and drain my resevoir down to halfway and water them once a day for a couple days im in your boat bro check out my plants.

Generally pH and nute problems are related.

so how do we fix it? ive been told nute burn and or ph too high , how do we fix them both?

it's ph fluctuation, i had the same problem & found the answer in this link https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-plant-problems/157345-have-plant-problem-check-here.html , it's one of the sticky threads. you probably need to recalibrate your ph meter to once again get acurate readings

Puffpuffgive do you know what your PH is? That is step #1
Ph is very crucial to success.

Hey Big Red, what is your ph? You can get a cheap chemical test solution that is also pretty accurate.
You can use Ph up and PH down from your local hydro shop.

I thought my meter was working ok, but there were a few times I added a lot of up or down and the meter wouldn't change reading, I think it got clogged. I always tried to back up test with the drops, but they are a pain to calibrate with (i.e. you can easily mistake an yellow orange for a yellow green. I got a good meter that does ppm and EC and the plants popped right back up. I think the lesson I learned on this batch is to spend the money on a good ph meter, the bottom end digitial one's are useless within a month or two. Auto Calibration is a very important feature to have. The manual one's are crap. And you can overfert if your solution bucket evaporates. thanks for the confirmation guys.

Flush them with Clearex, let them dry for a couple of days, and start feeding again with a freshly-mixed batch of ph-balanced nute solution.
