Is this ready to chop?

Mate I'd chop them immediately, personally as soon as I see Amber I chop - anymore than 10% Amber it never seems as nice. They turn Amber as they are past their peak so the more Amber you have the more it's degraded from its optimum imo.

To look at the buds they kinda don't look ready but to me the trichs are where they need to be. Why not chop 1 now, another in a week and 2 weeks for another so you can compare what suits you?

I find that as soon as my plants look perfect to chop they start spitting out new pistols anyway. The trichs are everything as that's where the the potency is determined. I'll be surprised if you take my advice as everyone else is encouraging to run longer but I wouldn't.

You need to reduce nitrogen input then
You are missing quality by harvesting to early

It's a tricky questions; They're starving and have been for a while now. Keeping them alive and starving might just reduce potency, but giving them nutrients at this point might not improve them. Next time keep them fed for longer.

The amount of new flowers on a couple pics are more than a late “surge”. I go by trykes but want much fewer new pistils.

I only seen 2 possible amber trichome heads. I see 20x that in light colored pistils. I wouldn’t chop yet either.

It is a tough call on a new strain. i dont like over about 10 percent ambers either and mine are similar to yours. I am waiting now for more ambers and they now look about 90 percent "milky".

I have 2 buds drying for test purposes now- it is all good but we want the "best" which may also vary among growers
