Is this seed ready for soil

Just wanting to know if this seed germinated properly and if it should go into soil soon or if I can leave it in the paper towel do it grows a bit longer

Lol yea prince is right.technically u could plant it now but best leave it until later on tonight and give it a better chance.

14 hours after that photo was taken the root had only grown about 1 mm so I put it into damp good quality seed raising mix just under the surface and put under a light I'm now going to play the waiting game, can anyone give me an estimated time that it will break surface?

try to keep the bottom of container slightly warmer and that'll increase chances and speed. also make sure it's not too deep. no fertilizer!

begin to learn patience.... it's a HUGE part of growing.

It all depends on the humidity in your soil and in your grow room..but 1-2 days is the norm

2-3 days @ the Max really(unless you buried deep) keep it moist(not wet) just spray surface with a little tepid water...Waiting Sucks , but You will smile when She Pops up to say HELLO!

These are older seeds and I didn't want to put soil in a heap of pots and have them not sprout so I wanted to check for germination before using the soil and light space
