is this signs of sex?

Hi peeps, this is my first time grow. Nirvana Short Ryder in a small cfl box. So far so good, plants look healthy, see my first thread -> https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/450821-first-ever-grow-plant-healthy.html

My question is related to picture in this post below, is this plant showing its sex for the first time with what looks like pistils? or am I jumping to conclusions too early and it's simply just more leaves starting to grow?

I see nothing that indicates sex, Those little things in the middle is normal growth

those are called stipules and they grow on both female and male plants.
