Ok so my plants seem to be sick and im not sure why, this hasnt realy been a problem in the past but since about 2-3 weeks ago they seem to be stunted, the leaves are looking very hewalthy green near the top but ate all sagging, im pretty sure its not watering because it doesnt seem to change when i water or when i let them dry out( not completely but enough to need more water). Also the leaves seem to be turning a strange colour ive never seen, its like a mix of brown, red, purple and green. DSC00802.jpgDSC00804.jpgDSC00803.jpg
DSC00805.jpgDSC00806.jpg
Here is the one plant, the others which are in vegg aswell seem to be displaying the same characteristics but to a lesser degree, only the bottom leaf is really effected... What am i doing wrong??? I need to fix this problem asap because im affraid to clone this one any more as the plant might not recover and i dont want to start a new mother

Are you feeding it anything?

looks to me like you need more light, at the least... I'm just guessing because as your plant sleeps the leaves droop and what not. Then as light is turned on/sun is on the plant the leaves lift up towards the source of light. I'm assuming your lacking light hence the drooping and possibly over watering your plants, or some sort of nute problem, if your using nutes lay off for a while, try keep your watering scheduled and try get more light. What the temperatures?

I'm not sure if I'm on the right track, but I hope it helps, as I grew my plants under CFL's from seed then popped them outside to grow, the sun was heaps more light and they picked up and grew heaps.

Wow, those are some jacked up looking plants. On the virge of death as a matter of fact.

Please let us know:

A)watering schedule - How often, how much?

B) The PH of your runoff water.

C) What nutrients are you using? What is the strength and how often are you feeding?

D) The soil you used. And if you mixed the soil with Perlite, Vermiculite, etc (how much?)

E) What type of water are you using? Tap water, rain water, etc?

F) What are you using for light source? What size, how many lights? Or is this outdoors?

I think it can be saved if you cough up some more info and we can get it sorted out. Right now it's all sorts of off-track and it makes it hard to diagnose without further information.

alright, so the plants are in a soil mix i make myself. 5 parts black earth, a little under 1 part perlite and half a part peat moss. Lights are CFL's for Vegg and HPS for flowering. There are about 250-300 W of CFL's inside the box but thats spread over an area of about 1.5'x1.5' the lights are pretty close to this plant, within 2 -3 inches, 18/6 lights shedual. Nutes Shaltz 10-10-10 plant food, i dont use it very often as it tends to burn then plants, ill put it in the water every week or so at a litte under full strenght. I am using tap water as it seems to have been working thus far, i dont PH it down because ive heard u can havea higher PH in soil as apposed to a hydro set up, its in the 6.5-7PH range. I water the plants when they get dry, finger in the soil method, this is usually every other day or so. temps are a not bad in the Vegg box, under 30, they get hotter in the HPS flowering chamber because of the HID but when the temp outside gets colder the box remains at a steady temp between 25-30. THis plant did pretty much die, i cut off all the branches leaving nothing left and it managed to come back to life with about 6 new side branches, I did try and flush the plants with just tap water, thats why they look really droopy in the last 2 pics im assuming, the soil was still very wet this morning when i checked them out

It sounds like you've gone what you can do. The only thing is that I would check the PH of the runoff. The ph of the water going in may be 6.5 but if you have nutrients building up in the soil it will drop your ph drastically, often the water in is 6.5 - 7.0 and the water our is 4.3-4.5.

These are relative youngsters so I'm assuming that's not what's going. So the new growth looks good? After you removed all of the yellowing leaves have you seen any more yellowing? It's possible whatever the problem is has resolved by flushing. The new growth is the only thing that you can look at now. The old growth is dead/gone and it won't restore itself, just gotta focus on the new growth now. If it's coming out green and healthy and nothing else is yellowing you are back on track.

Shutlz food is okay, but you should find some decent nutrients although they cost a little more they sure do grow marijuana well. Fox Farms is a good start.

Just stick it outside in the sun... lol... let the soil dry out abit... should be fine. just water with tap water, see how you go. I think under the CFL's at the moment they aren't going to help.

Don't stick it outside. That's terrible advice. Keep your INDOOR grow room free from bugs and all of the outdoor elements.

its an old plant, almost 3 months old, i kept it in bad soil to keep it from growing because my grow box was getting to hot, so it was stunted for about 2 months then i switched the soil and shook most of the old soil out, it was doing fine 2-3 weeks ago, nice and healthy, There is new growth still coming out, i cloned it about 5 days ago and already has new growth coming out of it, Im Defiantly considering getting a different nute because the shaltsz stuff is really unpredictable, sometimes it burns sometimes it doesnt. I have the Supernatural brand stuff for flowering but i havent got the Vegg stuff yet. Ive heard its good because it auto balences your PH so I would have 1 les problem to worry about, and i live in canada where its getting cold outside so putting it outside isnt going to be a good idae with temps, and buggs, LAst thing i want is a bug infestation inside the box... Should i try and flush one more time and check the PH of the runoff, i didnt check it the first time because it hasnt really been a problem in the past so i tend to not focus on it

I agree with Laserbrn... this is not the advice you want to take...

Keep it inside... As mentioned also, check your pH to make sure it's in the acceptable range (6.5-7), although it probably isn't that... The lights being a couple inches away shouldn't be a problem, unless that's the case w/ your HPS lamp as well... 8 inches is probably the closest you want your plant to be to a HPS lamp...

That's a tall, big lookin' sativa... How are your clones doing? Get some pics up of them if you can...

Either way, good luck and happy growin/tokin'!!! :bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint::leaf::leaf:
