let me start by saying my plant is growing pretty fast (2weeks it grew over 12inches) but im starting to notice the inner part of the leaf is a lighter green the the outter "tips" which are a dark green..it basically looks like a light green leaf with a dark green outline to the whole leaf..Is this the start of nutrient burn or could it be a lack of nutrients?? i was thinking the start of nutrient burn but im not 100%

sounds like it dude... post some pics if u want help

your gonna need to let me know what kinda nutes u are using and how much u used, and how long ago.... elaborate.. what stage of growth are you in and how far along in it are you... strain also could be a factor.

im pretty sure its to much nutes or not enough N but im growing in FF soil with 1/3 part coco and im using AN..3part series grow micro bloom, bud blood, carbo load, and im about to start with big budz..they also got a little bit of superthrive and fish emulsion during veg..i just went into flower 4days ago and in veg i used GH nutrients cuz thats what i had..they only got straight water twice and that was at the early stages of veg

its BLUE DREAM all my other plants are fine no signs of nute burn at all..all get the same amount of nutes..and the discolored leafs are more towards the top then the bottom

thats not even close to nute burn thats a nitrogen def....

you need to get nutes with higher N count to darken them leaves up

i added worm castings yesterday and those got N in em so once i water they should get more N..next time i water im thinking i should just use fish emulsion to get the N levels a little higher then after that start back with the higher PK

i was just looking thru the FAQ and it sounds like a IRON def to me..the yellowing is in the middle of the plant and starts from the top a N def. yellows from the bottom up..the new growth on my plants are mostly affected not the old growth..how do u treat a IRON def??? bbbuuummmpppp..........

After taking a look at your pics... i would have to suggest you test the pH of your soil and adjust you nutes slightly up. soil will take some time to 'heal' the plant, but other than a little discoloration starting i see some nice plants. keep up the good work

also keep in mind temps... leaves curling usually means they are trying to hold water in, that paired with the discoloration is def fixable... i really wouldn go with putting any kind of salts into soil. keep us updated on the plants recovery.

ok hi guys so heres my good deed for the day :bigjoint:
twisting and cupping is a result of water stress usually to much, people see these symtoms your having and decide to bang up the nutes and drown the poor plant wtf? less is most definatly more,
ph and ec your mix before you feed
ph and ec your mix ( ie run off ) after feed the differances in the 2 will tell you instantly ( or guide you in the right direction ) what your probs are !
ie fed with plain tap water, ph 7 ec 100ppm run off = ph 6.5 ec 3000 ppm wtf way to much nutes :bigjoint:
personally if your having n def probs now( first week of flower ) considering that the veg stage is a high nitrogen consumption stage and your having n def already, gona struggel, even though flower is all about the p and k a small amout of n is also required , the nitrogen allows other elements to work without it your plant will die.
so to cut all the crap you need to know whats going in and whats going out this alone will tell you what you need to know and just one more thing if your in 2 minds if water or not ( soil ) dont 90% of all probs are water related 100% are humen :bigjoint:
have fun my friend :leaf:

so when the leaves curl and they try to hold in water what causes that..to much heat?? well i tested the ph of my soil and its 7.0-6.8...i dont have the best ph tester i got a cheap one from home depot but my ph should b fine..i just started watering the plants with a gallon each of straight ph'd water, a few drops of superthrive and a couple drops of fish emulsion..i wasnt sure what to do so i just did what i did..if i see something look worse ima take bigger steps and flush really good then start all over with nutes..thanks for all the comments u can keep em coming
