Is this too much pruning?? Lol

Nice. BTW, my dog almost died last weekend, but an emergency surgery and a $5500 bill has her back on track now. She's got her cone on and eating well. Feeding her chicken and rice, I think she wants more..

Loss of words on that. Cost is insane. The real friend is priceless. Relieved it is going well. And that looks like intelligence and character coercing you under threat of exertion leading to a vet trip. Speedy recovery. Fun in store for both.

Defol will almost always reduce your yields.

If you defol everything on the plant will be ready on the same day. If you don't defol you might need to harvest the tops first and then give the rest more time to mature but you will get more grams.
I don know that you get less or more from all I done. It's more about... do you want to do the work on the plants in veg defloiating or later trimming... if it's
not all just popcorn larf

Yeah, she's part of the family by now, and I couldn't let her go. She was in the pet hospital for less than 24 hours for that bill, but it was the weekend and took her to a specialist. I'm pretty sure if we had waited until the Monday, she would have been dead by then. Dogs don't usually self-recover from uterus infections, and she was starting to look like she was trying to find a place to curl up and die. Glad we took her in when we did. Not too happy about the bill, but it is what it is.

Depends on your methods and understanding. Here is a thought for you. Heavy emergency defol and lolli.

Lol I guess my friends plant will come back stronger than ever then. He’s got 500 more to prune lol. Wish he’s going to get some good weight coming his way lol. Got all 500 gg4.
GG4 is a beast in competent hands. Was my first example and tent. Here is a later pic for you. Mid veg.

well the dude above with his defol plants looks like he's got about 3 ounces on each if he's lucky.

This auto plant had no defol. Looks messy cause she fading out but as you can see the whole thing is pretty much a mass of bud. I'm estimating it'll be about 6-8 ounces. Plus maybe half an Oscar of larf down low to go to the press.

Looks like a mess.

And the old phone prank comes to mind.. Too funny and caller ID ruined it.

Where are the 3-4 dried buds that made? Even mine looks good wet. LOl.

Peace and humor.
From the same plant dry and on the scales. That was
the first chop. Got about that again from the second and third harvest combined. Wasn't all as pretty but still burnt the same

Each to their own mate. I grow autos so I can't keep them in vege to recover. Probably why I don't defol.

No offense intended. My memory of an old joke is US. Apologies. Just saying you know what is going on.

Hope you are bouncing back there. And eat a painted cray for me if your luckier than I'll ever be.

Sincere peace and humor. 002.jpg005.jpg001.jpg006.jpg

Mmmm crispy fried

Is that what kids are calling burnt to shit plants nowadays “fading out”

I know....I did it and learned a lesson.
Worse thing was that the idea was sound...etc.
So long as we keep living and learning

2 years ago I bred a plant I found in the Amazon (Ecuadorean Chola) and a Jamaican I had picked up a few years earlier. A rocking plant with a great high. It's an awesome yielder so decided to make it my cash crop last year. I took about 50 clones each from 4 plants. I was taking them once a week at the end. By mid June I decided I was done and started cleaning out my indoor room and start focusing on the clones I put out. I had these 4 over worked sorry looking grannies I had raped over and over, especially at the end. I mean they were naked and alone. Thin sticks. I was on my way to the compost pile with them and didn't have any weed in my yard so I decided to put the in the ground. I figured if they lived, I might get a couple ounces off them. They were all but dead and damn if they didn't start to wake up.

They ended up being my best plants.

Blue Jag (Chola x Jam)

If I had a picture of them when I put them in, you'd laugh your head off.

There are a few good videos on YouTube about extreme defoliation. check them out.

Well I’m dead wrong. Just lost $500 to my friend. I guess his ladies all came back stronger than before.
