Is this true?

When you put your plants in flower it's best to cut off the lower shoots where bus would form because it would out more focus on the shoots above and still provide the same amount or even more bud?

I personally think that the lower buds are not worth saving. after harvesting I noticed that the lower "popcorn" buds arn't with it. my next grow I intend to remove the lower buds so the plant can concentrate on the main colas.....just my opinion....hope this helps.
