Is this Wireless Outlet ok for 1000w MH and HPS?

I'm looking at an indoor/outdoor wireless-control outlet with the following specs:

• WIRELESS WIFI PLUG SPECIFICATIONS: 125Vac, 60Hz, 1000W Tungsten, 15A Resistive, 15A General Use, 1/2Hp, 500VA Electronic Ballast, 8.3A Ballast
• Control electrical devices from anywhere – using your smartphone

Would it be adequate for timing a 1000w MH or HPS? If not, any recommendations for a sturdier option?

looks like it ought to, but i wouldn't plug anything else into it, the one light will be about maxing it out

I have no idea what benefit there is to controlling your HPS by your smart phone.
Its either on flower cycle or veg cycle, its not something that needs wireless smart tech.
What it needs is the simplest fool proof least chance of a fault timer built for the job and remain consistent.

Also consider the surge of power it takes to start a 1000w light. Its why we use timers made to handle several times the wattage.

@coreywebster Been using an Intermatic outdoor timer with little plastic doodads to set on and off. It works fine, but lately have been using some deep red trigger lights. Getting different mechanical timers set for an accurate 10 minute interval between the start of the triggers and mh/hps is tricky. Digital timers have odd interfaces so I thought a wireless option might work better. I wish I had equipment with several times the wattage ratings! My Intermatic timer says "15A(1800 Watt) RESISTIVE 15A(1800 Watt) TUNGSTUN 1HP (15FLA 90LRA) MOTOR" which seems to give it a higher rating than the wireless option. My Phantom ballast reads IMAX=9.2, which would make the wireless timer (8.3A Ballast) inadequate. I know... With a 1000w lamp I should be using a 220v circuit.
