Is using yeast to make co2 bad?

I feel this is wrong, unless you're using a generator that has a fire-type source and it's not burning cleanly.. then, and only then could it be a carbon -monoxide- issue. Fatality from CO2 alone would have to result from minimal to no oxygen at all, and extremely spiked level of CO2, resulting in CSHS.
i called up hydrogen pro regarding this issue with CO poisoning as i was highly concerned running a sealed room. they told me it would take a really long time to build up enough CO to be dangerous. they said just opening the door everyday when i go to work in the room is enough to air it out. also the generator cannot run for long without auto shutting off if the water running through it isnt extremely cold which it isnt cause i recirc.

NG is also by far the cheapest way for co2. it literally costs me under $5 a month to keep my aprox 10x20 area at 1400 ppms.

the only cheaper way i can think of is to build a structure around a gas furnace or water heater(they produce a shitload of co2). duct it to your grow room with an inline fan. hook the fan to a controller to kick on when your ppms get low. i've heard of a lot of ppl doing this. only down side is not everyone's produces enough co2. especially in summer for a furnace.

overall yeast is a waste of money. buy a generator or tanks and it will by far make up for it. buy a ppm meter and find out how pathetic the co2 is from yeast LOL.

Your absolutely right. it is the best way to go if you have a decent size grow room.
if you have a small grow closet, or a cabinet grow or a small grow tent, making yeast is probly a good way to go for those people.
i personally have never seen a Co2 gen. Sitting up in the corner of some one 3' x 2' grow tent, and your probly never gonna see a 55 gallon drum making Co2 in your 10' x 20' grow, both are not practical.

hey guys...i have a small grow space goin right now. i'm wondering what if i purchase some dry ice
and throw in a small cube or two every day or so? it won't be practical to do it for the whole lifecycle but perhaps in late veg thru flowering?
