Im in black gold organic soil right now but my next grow will be pro mix HP so probably no goos for that? I have been using spring water and PH adjusting that but well water is free so sounded better. Lol

Black gold organic soil but switching to pro mix HP next run so more concerned about using it with pro mix HP.
Promix is fairy inert but is a great base to amend. If u amend correctly ur well water will be fine. If u just use is as the inert medium it is then well water may not be ideal. Without a proper test tho you can’t really be sure tho.
Good luck!!

My well water is about 7.8, and has around 140 ppm. Plenty of Ca. I use it plain all the time in my organic soil. I don't pH it, but occasionally I'll add a tiny citric acid, mainly to help break the Ca bonds.

My well water has a ph of 7.5 and is high in calcium, magnesium and iron. Good or bad? Thoughts?
It can be. Buddy has well and his last grow tastes like chalk when smoked. Even the fancy filter he uses leave a chalk(like) coating on your tongue.
So watch hardness and other mineral/ nutrients but also if your well is under a farm field you could get farm chems leeching in.
