Is your grow kind to Earth? Anyone using clean energy?

Our electricity comes from wind and hydro through a program with national grid/Community Energy...I was wondering if anyone else was stepping up and making sure their grows don't come from coal and nuclear power and hurt the planet...

better yet, has anyone gone off the grid with their grow? I want to eventually power my setup (and entire house) with solar and wind, completely off grid, then no one else can see how much you use up.

I'm still on the grid for now, but I'm researching aether energy (from the earth itself) and a type of circuit that draws electricity from the air. I'm not sure when I'll be able to get things off the ground, but I'm in a bit of a rush. I DESPISE the power grid. I'd rather deal with the Mafia...

Dont use clean power, but i offset my carbon footprint by recycling, using car less and using energy efficient domestic appliances.

Hydro electric here. Our electric company even gave everyone 2 free cfls. that's alot of freebee's. Apparently the electricity saved from those lights gets sold to the U.S and helps keep our rates low. Don't quote me on it tho I don't know the final numbers. edit.. I was just checking it out a bit and it was 4 free bulbs per houshold.

Sweet, alot of encouraging responses...even if you're on the grid your electric company might have a clean power program where they've teamed up with sustainable energy companies...and yes, the grid is like the mafia...and the gas company, etc...wish I had the cash for my own wind turbine...once you've paid for the gear, the juice is free.

Further to my earlier post saying, i dont use clean energy, after checking it is hydro power. So it is after all, clean!
