Looks like it's waxing up
Pretty sure it's done but I'm leaving it all night in the dish. No more liquid whatsoever in it, it's just moist looking.
Good morning Benassi, how is that iso hash looking?
To be honest I've never made iso hash. How does it differ from the butane extraction? It seems that putting that in a jar, shaking for 60sec and straining it through a coffee filter would be wayy easier!
I save up vaped volcano buds, could I do this iso extraction on that to yield some hash?

What up Verde! Dude, i woke up at 5am to go to work, smoked the tiniest piece out of my hash pipe and almost didnt make it to work hahahaha got soooo stupid high. It's a real heavy high. The hash looks like it does in the second picture and I haven't scraped it yet because I'm at work. The center is dried kief what looks like, and the outer parts are gooey wax and oil. I think after scraping, the dry will mix with the wet to form a beautiful ball that should be stable.
More pics and an update when I get off at 2am.
But yeah dude, ISO is dumb easy, for my first try I think I got a decent result. More times I do it the better it'll get. I'm sure you can evaporate it and have your iso hash ready to toke in 2 hours with a fan or even the boiling water method. Way quicker than BHO.
You can make ISO out of anything with trichs. I heard of people using vape bud as well.

Water cure is where you let the buds sit in water. The buds loose chlorophyll and size, but retain the resins. So you end up with more potent bud as far as weight.
Sorry, I know the idea but not the specifics. I've never had the desire to 'water cure'

Less green more mean.
To demostrate, take some of your iso, go pick a green leaf off something in the garden.
Swirl leaf in ISO, remove leaf, and look at ISO, contemplate the results.

Where are you guy's buying your 99% isopropyl? I checked in WallyMart and Walgreens today and the highest they had was 91%. This sure sounds interesting and I'd like to give it a try. Thanks.

I'm actually in Southern Cali, but we do have Safeway here.
However, you're twice wrong, I bought them at Vons hahahaha which is probably like a sister market to Safeway or vise versa
Anyways it's actually fairly stable, if your hands are warm, good luck getting it off, but it's somewhat stable. When you apply heat to it to smoke a bowl of it, it melts straight into liquid oil in the blink of an eye. I'd say my quality is superb whereas my yield was highly lacking.

I'm not going to use nugs ever again for ISO. I'll use them for BHO all fuckin' day but my next ISO batches will all be from shake. $36 an ounce. Therefor when I get a measly gram, It's completely worth it.

Thanks Supgee3. The Safeway we had in town closed up some years back but I'll check some of the other grocery stores we've got (Albertsons and Smiths). My other thought was to check Home Depot and Ace Hardware in the paint department where the other solvents are. Gonna be a couple days until I get back in to town but I'll let you know what I find.

I checked at my local walmart and grocer and couldn't find any either. I still need to check the drug stores though. But If i can't find anything I was gonna go to the liquor store and get some Everclear. That should do the same thing and probably do a better job. What do you guys think?
