It aint growing fast enough

wow 100, that extremely to hot, needs to be atleast below 85 preferably around 75, and as far as the plants getting taller in the dark, dont listen to that, 24hrs of light for veg and they will grow faster than they would with a dark period
 
Get a light timer. Your plants need the dark period to breakdown the sugars that photosynthesis created during the photoperiod and use them. You tend to get better root growth this way. Root growth means plant growth.

my plants grow under 24/0 too......
 
hey are those water bottles clear? if so plant in something where light cannot reach root system.
 
The one water bottle is see through and the other is a dark blue bottle and that one looks the healthiest

This is true. Think of it like this. Everything you eat during the day just sits around and waits for you to go to bed to digest. It's the same in the plant world. They take in their food via sunlight diring the day and at night "digest" it to put it to use.

When you leave your lights on all the time like that you are fighting against millions of years of evolution.

Turning off the lights for the 6 hottest hours of the day might help out your temperature problems a little bit as well.
 
hey moffit I know what youre sayin about plants and root growth, I like 20/4 better 24/0
but if you or any other human is only digesting food at night then there is something VERY wrong with you.

digestion should be taking place ALL THE TIME if there is food in your body
[except during heavy exercise, fight or flight]

unless you only ever eat right before you go to bed
its time to get a laxative man
and see a doctor :)
 
it was an example, duh, when they leave their lights on all the time their plants can't digest. Like if you weren't allowed to digest how fast could you grow?

All of my strains grow under 24/7, but they all grow faster with some dark time.

IMHO, giving plants some time to concentrate on "digestion" leads to faster root growth. I've even scaled my clones to 22/2.
 
Regardless of the lighting debate, I think our fellow junglist friend is correct. It is waaaay to warm in that attic. You need to add some exhaust to purge all the heat that travels up from your house. Get a really good squirrel cage fan and throw some ducting in there to get rid of the hot air.

I have a strain that's been bred for heat, and even that one gets sad at about 94f+
