Are there any home remedies for cal def? I used a bit of molasses in plain water in between my last two feeds. But I don't have any cal or calmag nutes. I know epsome salt adds mag.. What can I use to add cal? I use the flora series. And ph is between 6 and 6.5.Calcium deficiency

Have you tried it on cannabis?Calcium carbonate is calcium carbonate.
Yes. You won't cure the damaged leaves. Suggest foliar spray to quickly address. Calcium is immobile in the plant. It can't transfer it to where it's needed like nitrogen is. This is why regular feedings throughout the grow in feedings are recommended. It helps with root growth in veg and stem strength as well.Have you tried it on cannabis?
Seems like a good idea.
Thanks, I'll give it a shot. Actually I have some calmag RAWbrand but it has nitrogen in it. 9-0-0. If I add it won't it mess up my ratio of NPK mixed with my flora series?grind them up pretty fine, like sand, and they'll work, but it is slow release. gypsum and dolomite lime are usually pretty readily available, and not too expensive. a small bag of either ought to be around 5 bucks, and should last you quite a while at the rate you'll use it.
yeah, thats pretty damn high.if i used that, i'd use it once a week by itself at about 200 ppm, and make sure to get a good amount of run off, so it doesn't build up and burn anything. Thanks, I'll give it a shot. Its too late to do this. And I learned about egg shells for this never heard of sea shells, but I live in my parents basement and dont get out much so....I also heard that using sea shells will slowly release calcium into the medium?? I have some and plan to crush them and add as a top dressing for a time release of calcium. Thoughts??
i think it could be both. OP, are you letting your soil dry out good between waterings? wet soil causes P problems. i'd raise my ph a little too, try 6.3 to 6.8, centered at 6.5Its too late to do this.
Botanicare is a 2/0/0 cal mag and might be a better option since in flower.
In your pics I only see one dot out of all the dots that look like a calcium problem.
If I had to vote by the pics I would say its a phosphorus deficiency by the blotchy leaf not sure what the bigger brown dots are.
I would get some microbes to add and stay on track since its only on a few leaves.
I do add microbes... once a monthIts too late to do this. And I learned about egg shells for this never heard of sea shells, but I live in my parents basement and dont get out much so....

Well, what are they? The brown dots are not mag.
Idk Ill guess p or a micromutrient. Only you know what your actually doing with what you feed it. You need to figure it out. The spots are not going to turn green again, you need to watch the new growth and old to see if it continues since you are making adjustments then with that info you will be able to determine what it was. Or at least what you did saved the day. Changes are slow in soil so its not going to happen overnight. You cant learn if you dont fail.Well, what are they?
When I looked up mag def a few pics popped up that looked pretty simular. They are spots of color change on the leaves not eggs or marks from anything. What else could it I just started giving the plant small amount of koolbloom witch is 0-10-10. So I've been giving it more phos.
Your def right about those things..Idk Ill guess p or a micromutrient. Only you know what your actually doing with what you feed it. You need to figure it out. A possibility might be since you had lights that are low in watts and you watered it really good but the lights keep you back you could have developed a root issue. Maybe microbes once a week would help that.
You dont have a ppm meter so maybe what you feed is too hot what water source do you use. all these things matter.
when in doubt flush it out. renute add microbes leave it alone till it dries up again. Your in flower so the nutrient level needs to be up there so I wouldnt cut that down to half strength or something like that. 3/4 strength add microbes. If you had a ppm meter I would say renute at 750 ppm.
Research microbes - research humic acid for your micro-nutrient needs. get a better light.
