It seems I was sent autos by mistake from the bank. Now what?

I bought (and confirmed in my order history today) Barney's Farm Blue Cheese and Vanilla Kush, both fem photoperiod.

Five weeks in, under 24/0 the entire time, the VK looks like a nice veg but the BC has been developing clusters of pistils and worrying me more and more over the past two weeks. Today, after seeing the frosting and just the overall look of the plant, I'm certain it is in flower, which must mean it's an auto(?). I had them re-package the seeds and the paper slip doesn't say auto either. Blargh.

So then, moving forward...

I was planning on putting them into 12/12 next week but now I'm unsure what to do. From some reading here, it seems my options are to either continue with that plan and have a smaller yield on the auto or leave it 24/0 until the auto is done and then finish the other plant as normal. Of course, that would extend the time frame I thought I was dealing with and the amount of effort and worry. To make matters worse, I wasn't giving the flowering plant any flowering nutes so its yield is probably already diminished. I'm really disappointed with Attitude over this and imagine there's no recourse with them for various and obvious reasons.

Any advice would be appreciated. Sorry, but I don't have pictures for ya. :D

I would politely discuss with vendor. Meanwhile dialing the mistake in to needs. And "XL" as stated most likely.

Top and train photos to perfect photo finish. A gift in disguise if you have the time to learn the lessons.

This game has no set schedules. We learn to adapt.

My view. Best wishes no matter your choice.

5 weeks of veg from an auto is more than likley an XL and will pull 4+ oz if you treat her well. I wouldn't fret. Autos are nowhere near the way people trash them. They hit up to 27-29 % thc for some breeders.
I believe the BC started auto-flowering around week four but I'm not sure because I just wasn't expecting it, and I was trying not to obsess over every little change. Once I saw pistils, I was mostly looking at the other plant to tell me when to switch to 12/12. It's just so obvious now that I can't deny what's happening any longer.

Re: "XL," is that a strain or a generic term? It seems Attitude sells an auto version of BC so that's what I'm assuming I've got, but I don't think that product page mentions "XL" anywhere.

So, to be clear, were you saying you think I should keep it 24/0 or go into 12/12 for the photo plant. My overall goal is a good yield with good smoke. I'm not super picky how I get there. :p

As for contacting them, I'm not sure how to prove to them what's happening and I don't want them to think I'm trying to get over on them or have them pay for my mistakes somehow. I just don't think I made any with respect to the light. I'll think on it though.

Thanks!

XL are extra large autos, and i personally do all my autos on 24/0. You can go 20/4 and 18/6, but i do NOT reccomend 12/12 on an auto. It will grow, but much lower yeild.

Then shes gonna get real big she just started showing hairs
Be smart. You'll find out who the clown is. 12/12 on autos will not grow a 6 ft plant. On 24/0 few autos get that big. He probably had tall plants that were stretching for limited light. That's not the same as a well grown big plant.
