Ayn Rand paid into SSI, it would be against her beliefs to not collect on something she was robbed of against her will. While recommending reading, catch up on objectivism and understand why she was right to take her bennies.

Our founding fathers went to great lengths to limit what our government could do. Whatever economic system favors the least amount of government intrusion would be my guess as what the constitution intended. Socialism, Fascism, Statism etc could not fit in the view that brought us such a limited government.

Why don't you read about objectivism and how theoretical physics point to consciousness not as independent of reality, but the basis of it.

You enjoy the protection of the military, the street in front of your house was put there by government, you enjoy police protection, fire protection, safety of your food and medical products, and hundreds of other benefits. If your wife didn't support you, you'd be on welfare and food stamps.

actually i think its called taxes, and its more than half taken from you is spent on the military.
