its a girl / with issues

ok so i have been on 12/12 for about 2 weeks i am using a 70 W hps for my main light & have additional 42 W 2700K cfl's for side lighting ,, she is about 4 inches from the hps bulb ,, i placed my hand over the canopy & its warm , not even close to bein hott , but i only left my hand there for about a minute,... she stays there for 12 hours .. using coco fiber / perilite / & about 25% mericalgrow moisture control soil ... never had any issues until now ,, i used CFL 6500K for the 3 week vegg & now that she is under the 70 w hps top leafs are lookin like a taco ,, i feed with shultz 12/55/6.. i ph avarything to the 6.2 - 6.5 range air flor is ok , i have carbon scrubber & a lil fan on her ,, ill take pics & u guys let me know what u think i placed red arrows in there to point out the problems

i think you can far away the hps 4 more inchs like that, it looks heat problem to me

i've had that same problem and it seems to me its from a bit of overwatering, my leaves get limp and fold over like that sometimes when i over do it. or forget to add h2o2. my plants at the time this was happening were needing more nutes, i underdid the nutes this time around just to make sure i didn't kill them the first time i try to grow.

I WOULD GUESS POSS. HEAT AS WELL. ROOM TEMP. IS GOOD?
NO BUGS? AND IS THIS PLANT A CLONE OR SEED STARTER?

room temps stay about 75 ish lights on , when its lights off it drops about 15 degreez ... i water about 1 time every 5 days , it was rootbound until i cut the bottem 1inch off her bucket & put that ontop of another bucket i just murdered a male so i had the extra bucket ... i inspect for bugs eveywatering & never found any ,, after i water i use a toothpick & pick around the top part of the roots to look for lil bugs on roots ,, never seen any & hopefully never do .. i inspect leaves too ... & now that i think about it ,, her canopy is about 4 inches from the 70 W hps ,, until about 20 mins ago i mover her further down ... BUT i did notice some leaf burns a while back & found out that when it is lights off it gets a lil chilly & the leaves all point up so when the light comes back on the leaves are still pointed up right on the light ,, so i hope this will cure her ,, i just flushed also ,, & when i did i PHd the water that came out teh bottem & it was like 5 ish ,, so after my flush i just gave her a 20 oz with 12/55/6 normal dose & 1/8 strength 15/5/5 & then i PHd that up to 7 ,, so hopfully that brings it back to normal ,, ill just wait n see .. OO this plant is from seed it was a gift pack i got from ontario seed bank ,, i have PPP but i am waiting for them ,, so i dont mess them up ,, as this is my 1st indoor grow

THE 15' TEMP DROP IS A BIT MUCH, JUST A THOUGHT, POCKING AROUND THE ROOTS PROB. NOT TO GOOD AN IDEA, I JUST STIR THE DIRT TOP TO MAKE IT LOOK PRETTY (ABOUT A 1/2) RACKING WITH YOUR HAND WILL STIR THEM UP IF THERE, IF NOT MAKES IT HARDER FOR THEM TO GET SET UP BECAUSE OF THE STIR, THERE EGGS, PATH WAYS AND BOROS ALL GET JACKED, MAKING LIFE HARDER LITTLE BUGGERS...... I'VE NEVER HAD A PROB. EITHER MIGHT BE DUE TO THIS, AND RUNNING A STERILE, CLEAN INVIROMENT. IN MY BLM RM WHEN LIGHTS ARE OUT THE LEAVES DROP UNTILL ABOUT 2/3 HOURS BEFORE THE LIGHT COMES ON, I JUST REALLY NOTICED THIS LASTNIGHT, WAS IN THERE LATER THAN USUALL AND NOTICED THERE PERKYNESS.. WHAT A GIFT FROM THE BANK, I NEED NEW BLOOD BAD, GETTING READY TO PLACE ORDER. ITS A JUNGLE OUT THERE IN SEEDBANK LAND. oo ok ,, i dont stir way down into the roots ,, just the VERY top 1/4 inch & always right next to the main stalk ,, ,, ues im in the US & its cold very cold here at night so thats why the temps drop that much ... i am actully in michigan & yes i never ordered seeds to my house ,, i have them sent to a friend right across the border in canada windsor ontario & then she either fex ex them to me or driver her car to my house & droppes them off ... when using fed ex she always sends a birthday card a 50$ gas card ( which i always pay her back thru wester union) & a few candles ,, ( go to the local $1 dollar store and get a few candles in glass jars ) *** preffebly a green color , or red *** put the candle on a candle warmer ( 5$ walmart) after all wax turns to liquid put the seeds in the tip of a condom & suck air out & melt shut with a lighter .. put seeds in the sealed condom & put them in the middle of teh wax , let dry & they cannot be seen ,,,, send that shyt thru ,, worked over 30 times for me ,,

i see your sayin that 15f is too low and my temps at night are way lower man. the lowest ive recorded it at was 5.6f. im growing in my loft and its not helping that for the last 3 weeks its been cold n sumdays frosty.. im 4 weeks into flowering and its been cold almost all of it. my buds are really small for this stage and im just wondering if temps like mine can slow dwn bud production.??? what would you say is a good temp to aim for at night???

ive heard that a drop to 10f can be ok for plants in flower but is there any truth in this???

(winter) Is In The 70/80f Mark Always, Winter Is Easier 1000w Bulb Makes Heat When On..........(off, Little Wall-MART heater Keeps Just Above 70f). I Feel (read In Books) That A 10 Deg. Flux In Temp. Is Good, Any More And Visable Changes Are Noticed In Plant, Ie....
Cold: Small Bud, Slow Growth, Less Hairs, Leafs Not Working To There Potintial, Fighting To Hold On..........
Warm: Air Buding, Somewhat Stretched Growth, Longer And More Hairs, Along W/related Watering/death Issues.
Now Summer I Fight It Alittle On Blm/grw Sides,(this Year I Will In Stall A Blower, Now I Box Fan It, From Garage, Thru Attic Hole, 20" Box Fan.) Grw Is 24/7 1000w During The Days My Temps. Have Peeked To 90f For A Wk. This Is When I Shut Down Grw For A Couple Hrs. @ Peek Temp During Day PANIC ALITTLE, And Kick On The 500$ Freestanding A/c.... To Drive Them Down To Upper 70's Lower 80's.........me House Only Gets To Use A 200$ In Window Unit (f-in Bitches).........
A RECOMENDATION TRY TO BOX IN THE AREA, MAYBE SEAL IT UP, MAKE ROOM ALITTLE SMALLER, BLACK PLACTIC NOT THE 1ST CHOICE FOR WALL BUT CHEAP AND WITH A STAPLE GUN IT CAN MAKE ROOMS AND WALLS QUICKER/CHEAPER/SMALLER..... I FEEL BY LIMITING SPACE SOME MORE HEAT SHOULD GET TRAPPED AND HELP??????????

Hey Mandy great way to ship seed across the boarder. I love the wax trick. By looking at the pics it looks like your plants are being over loved. Cut back a bit on the water and and lift the HPS a bit and she will come back around. If your looking for a nice strain let me know and I will send some seed to your G-friend in Windsor. I am just up the road in Chatham.

Im going to go with HEAT/COLD stress...

Like you said it gets cold and the tips point up (not a good sign on its own) and then when lights are on they are close to the light (where is probably hotter then 75) causing stress...

Those leaves might always hold that shape witch is ok, or they might flatten out, it is not hurting anything either way...

If you solve the problems, night cold and prox. to lights, you should not see any more of this happening...

Just my theories though... =]

thanks guys for all the info ,, yeah i moved her down a lil bit ... i think it was the cold nights outside ,, see i was leavin a window open for fresh air & not realizing it was too cold of fresh air for he r,, i solved that with the sugar & yeast co2 ,, hope it works ,, i also gave her a (ultra vitaMAN) which has everything in it that she calls for . regarding her trace elements ,, zinc copper boron ,, ect ,, she took it well & yes them leafs are stuck like that BUT its ok .. yes i love her a lil too much , i give more attention to her than i do to my boyfreind , dog,, & my bird combined LOL .. ok ill keep yall posted ,, ttyl
