It’s bad boys..

My first grow and Well…it’s not looking good boys. I think I may have Mis-diagnosed a potassium deficiency for a mag deficiency. The leaves are yellowing from the outside in and drying/dying as you can see by the photos. I posted a photo a couple weeks ago because I had some yellowing of the lower leaves. Someone suggested mag deficiency so I have been dosing with cal mag. I had planned to dose (5ml/gal) with cal mag every watering till she got better but it never really did. Now I am thinking my overzealous use of cal mag has caused potassium lockout. Can too much cal-mag lockout potassium?
I have fed her once a week with the FF trio for the last two weeks.
Am I right in thinking this is potassium def?
Is this plant pretty fucked? Salvageable? I’m assuming the yield will be massively reduced if I’m even lucky to yield anything.

Any advice at all would be great guys. Please and thank you. I’m really bummed that I have mistreated my beautiful plant..

Lay off the calcium. Wait until dry and pick it up to be sure. Then straight water a couple of times. I wouldn't flush. Just ride it out. If fade starts in lower leaves then feed.

The major deficiencies we see here on RIU are potassium first and phosphorus second. Phosphorus deficiency can initially appear as calcium deficiency. The same spotting. First thing everyone thinks is calcium deficiency. Give cal mag. Done and still it gets worse.

Potassium is obvious but people often mistake it for magnesium deficiency. Give cal mag!

Get a clue at this point. Refer to Mulder's wheel. It could not be easier. Excess calcium causes lockout of potassium and phosphorus both.

So basically I have done everything wrong is what your saying. Your am saying FF nutes period has done damage? I don’t see how that can be. It all boils down to NPK.
I see so many people with issues using FF nutes. But I'd lay off the Ca like hot rod is saying. It's one of the biggest contributor to lockout I think.

What's your medium too?

This if my first grow man, just asking for help. Please don’t be an ass. You said people often mistake it but then follow it up with get a clue.

Boy, more people than you read these. Or have you not figured that out? Grow up, kid. People with the same problems read these threads. There I've helped you learn something new. Good luck.

Guys like you cry the first night in boot camp and jail.

Thanks man. Gonna try that. I scour this site daily learning and still I got it wrong. It’s confusing at times when deficiencies can look a like.

FFOF.

I started with FFOF that I turned into no-till a few years ago. I don't use chemicals though.
I have two other starters of the same strain. I took what I learned from this first plant and used 50/50 FFOF and Black Gold organic as the straight FFOF burned the hell out of my plant. They seem to be very happy in the 50/50 mix, no sign of nute burn.

FFOF doesn't burn plants...people who add too much stuff to FFOF too early burn plants lol
