Its been 1 month, my plants are only 6" tall and very small!?

I use 6 25 watt T12's to veg my plants. I also take them outside at sun up and put them in direct sunlight, about an hour before dark i bring them back in. If anyone thinks there HPS lighting system can match the lumens the sun throws then they got one hell of a bulb in that bitch... And i also run my plants 23/1 lights schedual it seems to give them that rest they need without cutting out to much light. Good luck anyways. Happy tokin

True 'Palehawaiian', but it obviously depends on where ya live, its mostly grey skies here in New Zealand at the mo, hawaii is probably pouring with hot sun. Cheers

oh and if your going to use t12's at all .... get the 40w bulbs ...... it's kind of rediculous not to , obviously they put out more lumens = plants grow

Make sure the PH is right, make sure it's not too hot in the grow room/box, Make sure the light isn't too close to it causing it to stay short.

A good time to water is when you can stick your finger 4 inches into the soil and it's dry.

pics please? and possibly because of the size of your pots..I had a plant do that ...roots had no room so it stunted its growth and it was only about 6 inches also

Does anyone have a light meter anymore... if you do stick it right under your 1000wt HPS and see how it reads... not maxed out on the meter yet.... to bad, now take it outside... gloomy day or not and watch that bitch peg the needle... swear to you natural sunlight is better than any combo of man made lights you could ever use.... hmmmm
