Its been 10 days! quick question

I have two plants growing. One, the small quarter inch stem is brown and hasnt, im my eyes, grown that much. The second plant, with a green stem, hasnt had any leaves come out for over 10 days. Is this normal? will the leaves come, and how soon?

Nope, that's not normal at all. Once they sprout, you should see growth on a daily basis. Its quite remarkable actually.

well actually when i watered them, i notice that the top of the one sprout is dark green and the bottom, a light green. i was thinking, shouldnt leaves start to come out of the dark green?

Your plants should look something like the below pictures

first you should see the sprout trying to break the soil


After the plant breaks the soil, it'll try to make it's first two leaves


Here's another pic


Those first two leaves will grow out and two more leaves will start to grow like this pic


And the process just repeats it's self over and over again

no that isnt normal..have them out in the sun for as long as you can during the day and just water it normally..dont over water and just leave it! you will see it get back to normal slowly
