Title says it. My box is getting really hot. I can't seem to drop the temperature at all. Sits at 91 with the door closed. I've been leaving the door open when I'm there and it drops to about 80. The box is 5 1/2 feet tall, 4 wide, and 2 1/2 in depth. I have to oscillating fans in there, a 50 cfm exhaust and intake fan I got from home depot. I'm only using cfls at the moment in the second week of vegging from seeds. Please help me.

i have the same problem except my box is 3'x3'x12" and i have a 150w HPS. You just need to exhaust the hot air faster (ie. more powerful exhaust fan)

While the plant may do "better" at a lower temp, but they will still do fine in the 90's. It gets ninety degrees in the wild doesnt it?

I have to ask a question: Are you sure the exhaust fan is blowing in the right direction? 90+ on an inside grow this time of year in TN with CFL is surprising, though not impossible. Have you considered switching your exhaust to be your intake and intake to be your exhaust? Is your exhaust being moved far aware from the grow box so its not getting pulled back in?

Just throwing out some ideas.

90+ on seedlings is tough, with summer coming, its only going to get hotter

i have almost the same size box (maybe a little smaller) and about 180 watts of cfl power to my babies... i guess i'm kind of lucky it is just making it at 88 degrees
