That's why I asked. Those grills and a tall winch are notorious for killing air flow. But I'd like to know if an aftermarket electric fan helps? What fan, and did it increase the amount of flow? Bypass switch?

I'm about to wire one in my Toy, there is a way to hook it up to the battery so it will run without the ignition being turned on. It has a temp sensor on the relay.

What would you want that for? I was thinking being able to turn it off for deep water. But the one jeep probably won't see that for a while.

Well ya.......but why would you want the fan to run after the truck is off?
Or maybe that would be used in a turbo situation.....like hooked into a turbo timer or something.

Probably won't wire it that way, I guess it could be to further cool it, it has a temp sensor so it would shut off once it cooled down.Well ya.......but why would you want the fan to run after the truck is off?

I would have to look at office in files. Had my techs install so don’t know the name of it off hand. And yes have a bypass on off switch installed but no need to ever use it since the coolant temp sensor will activate the fan when it needs but installed just in case for a back up

and the girlfriend drives it anyways. I personally hate it unless at the deer hunting ranch. Feels like I need to Fred flinstone it to go faster. Rather drive my f150 roushe.
Plus I don’t drive after she put these goofy stickers on it.
